Richard Clyde Dana passed away June 8, 2019 at his home in Rawlins. He was 79 years old. He was born to parents Richard W. and Alta (Smith) Dana on September 4, 1939 in Fort Lupton Colorado. He moved with his family to Rawlins at an early age and graduated from Rawlins High School. Richard enjoyed the great outdoors of Wyoming and all that it offered. He had a great time hunting, fishing, and enjoying the fresh air and wide open spaces. He had a great love of horses and spent may enjoyable hours at the corrals . He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bob Dana. Surviving Richard are his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Dawn Dana, and his daughter Kelli Willis, as well as numerous grand children and great grand children. Richard will be missed greatly by his friends in the Great Divide Back Country Horse Club. The family will hold services at a later date.
