Managing Funeral Service Practitioner / Certified Crematory Operator
Stephanie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Colerain High School. She is one of four children, raised by two loving, yet strict, parents. "I know how blessed I am to have both of my parents still with me", she says, as she helps families struggle with their own losses. “The sting of death affects us all. I have my parents, but I lost a child. We all struggle, and I can understand the grief the families are going through."
Stephanie serves our families on the front line as well as behind the scenes. She takes great pride in the care and detail given to each loved one. "To care for the dead in our society is an honored privilege," Her attention to detail is noticed. Families are attracted to her kind and giving nature. She is sympathetic and understanding, and goes out of her way to make each service meaningful and special.
Stephanie attended Vanderbilt University, Cincinnati Bible College & Seminary and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where she received an Associates degree in English Bible and later earned an Associates of Applied Science degree and a Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree. Licensed for 25 years in Ohio, Stephanie moved to Rawlins to enjoy a smaller town and serve the residents are their funeral director. She is a Certified Celebrant, a Certified Crematory Operator, and a licensed Wyoming Funeral Service Practitioner.
Stephanie is now an empty nester. Her oldest son, William, is a teacher in Indianapolis, Indiana and he and wife, Aubrey, are the parents of her two grandsons, Leo and Fox. Her middle child, Prisca, is a musician/singer/songwriter in Atlanta, Georgia, and her youngest, son, Jake, is an engineer in Kettering, Ohio.
When she has time to herself, Stephanie enjoys camping, fishing and hiking.
