Jeffrey Jacoby

Owner

Jeff began his funeral service career with Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home in 1995 and graduated from Arapahoe Community College with a degree in Mortuary Science. He is a licensed embalmer and funeral director and the previous owner of Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook, New Hampshire. He returned to Cheyenne in August 2009 to purchase Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home with Alex. In October of 2011, he purchased Jacoby Funeral Home in Rawlins, Wyoming (formerly Carbon County Funeral Home/ Rostad Mortuary), and in October of 2018, he purchased Bustard & Jacoby Funerals, Cremations, Reception (formerly Bustard's Funeral Directors & Crematory) in Casper, Wyoming.  He and his wife, Wendy (Rabou), currently attend the Cheyenne Hills Church and they have two daughters. He enjoys playing tennis, spending time with his family and traveling.


Stephanie Fehl

Managing Funeral Service Practitioner / Certified Crematory Operator

Stephanie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Colerain High School.  She is one of four children, raised by two loving, yet strict, parents.  "I know how blessed I am to have both of my parents still with me", she says, as she helps families struggle with their own losses.  “The sting of death affects us all.  I have my parents, but I lost a child. We all struggle, and I can understand the grief the families are going through."

Stephanie serves our families on the front line as well as behind the scenes.  She takes great pride in the care and detail given to each loved one.  "To care for the dead in our society is an honored privilege," Her attention to detail is noticed.  Families are attracted to her kind and giving nature.  She is sympathetic and understanding, and goes out of her way to make each service meaningful and special.  

Stephanie attended Vanderbilt University, Cincinnati Bible College & Seminary and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science where she received an Associates degree in English Bible and later earned an Associates of Applied Science degree and a Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree.  Licensed for 25 years in Ohio, Stephanie moved to Rawlins to enjoy a smaller town and serve the residents are their funeral director.  She is a Certified Celebrant, a Certified Crematory Operator, and a licensed Wyoming Funeral Service Practitioner.

Stephanie is now an empty nester. Her oldest son, William, is a teacher in Indianapolis, Indiana and he and wife, Aubrey, are the parents of her two grandsons, Leo and Fox. Her middle child, Prisca, is a musician/singer/songwriter in Atlanta, Georgia, and her youngest, son, Jake, is an engineer in Kettering, Ohio.

When she has time to herself, Stephanie enjoys camping, fishing and hiking.

Funeral Service Assistant / Certified Crematory Operator

A longtime Rawlins resident, Deb joined the staff in 2012. She obtained her Certified Crematory Operator Certification in 2015. Deb is a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, enjoys baking, and loves dogs.

Office Manager

Cheryl is a lifelong resident of Rawlins and joined the staff in July of 2015. She enjoys interacting with and providing support to families.

Funeral Service Assistant

Karen is a lifelong resident of Carbon County. Karen has been on staff since April of 2014 and finds serving with the professional staff at Jacoby Funeral Home very rewarding.


Mac Diaz

Mac Diaz

Funeral Service Assistant

Mac has been a resident of Carbon County since 2007 and joined the staff in January of 2017. Mac lives in Saratoga with his wife and two children.
